Ministry of the Month - Shadow of His Wings

Shadow of His Wings provides a place of refuge for the brokenhearted and for those whose spirits have been crushed. Establishing a shelter under the Shadow of His Wings where the wounded can find healing through Jesus Christ our Lord.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed."  Psalm 34:18

Dealing with unwanted same-sex attraction can seem almost impossible overwhelming at times. Some say "You have a choice! Choose not to feel this way." While others offer, "You were born this way! Be who you are!" The truth is that God would not ever cause your biology to "be gay" while at the same time say, "It is a sin".

Therefore, we must conclude that while it is becoming easier to accept "gayness" God's best still overwhelmingly says, "I will heal your same-sex attractions and I will make you whole." It is a hard road, filled with pain and hard work, but in the end it is worth it to reclaim your identity in Christ!

Shadow of His Wings offers a variety of services for men, women, and teen strugglers as well as for family members & friends, spouses, and those struggling with sexual identity issues. We also provide support to the Hispanic community.
